Job summary

Ingenious Talent & Workforce Solutions in South Africa seeks a Junior Sales Representative to drive new business development and support customer growth. The role focuses on building relationships, understanding client requirements and delivering product solutions in a fast-paced, technical environment.

The successful candidate will handle cold calling, client visits, quotations and orders while coordinating with internal teams to ensure service excellence and timely fulfilment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' sales or business development experience.
• Experience in industrial/technical environments is advantageous.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel.
• Grade 12 / Matric required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, canvassing and networking.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Conduct client visits to understand customer requirements and identify suitable solutions.
• Promote and sell the company's products and services.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations and sales proposals.
• Assist customers with product information, pricing and availability.
• Follow up on leads and opportunities to convert them into sales.
• Achieve agreed sales and new business development targets.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales records.
• Prepare call reports and provide regular feedback on sales activities.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and successful order fulfilment.
• Keep up to date with products, market trends and competitor activity.
