The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 2–4 years of analytical experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with Excel/SQL and possibly R or Python is expected.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or related field is required.
• 2–4 years of analytics experience in industrial or manufacturing settings is preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL and possibly R or Python for data analysis.
• Strong understanding of operations management and lean methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from production, logistics, and supply chain activities.
• Identify KPIs and develop dashboards to monitor efficiency.
• Conduct root cause analysis and propose data-driven solutions.
• Create process maps and docs to support efficiency initiatives in Stellenbosch.
• Collaborate with managers to implement changes and track effectiveness.
• Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations.
