Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Strong Lean manufacturing knowledge applied to facility design.
• Experience with simulation software is a plus.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills in spatial layouts.
• Excellent communication and teamwork across diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing facility layouts and material flows to identify inefficiencies.
• Design optimal facility layouts and material flow paths for new installations.
• Create detailed CAD drawings and 3D models of layouts.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering and safety teams to meet requirements.
• Apply lean principles to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
• Develop ergonomic workstation designs for operator safety and comfort.
• Run simulation studies to evaluate layout performance.
• Support selection and integration of material handling equipment.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Prepare layout proposals and present to stakeholders for approval.
