Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in facility layout design and material flow optimization.
• Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) for drafting and 3D modeling.
• Strong understanding of material handling systems, logistics, and lean manufacturing.
• Excellent spatial reasoning and visualization skills.
• Effective project management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and redesign facility layouts to optimize material flow, reduce travel distances, and improve productivity.
• Develop detailed plans for equipment placement, workstation configuration, and storage systems.
• Conduct ergonomic assessments and implement improvements to enhance worker safety and comfort.
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and areas where layout changes can yield significant benefits.
• Utilize CAD software to create and maintain accurate facility drawings and blueprints.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and safety teams to ensure all layout designs meet functional and regulatory requirements.
• Develop project plans and timelines for layout modifications and implement them with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
• Evaluate the efficiency of material handling systems and recommend improvements or replacements.
