Placements24 is seeking an experienced Industrial Cleaning Supervisor in Tembisa, Gauteng. You will lead a team of cleaning operatives across production floors, machinery and support spaces, ensuring high standards of hygiene, safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has proven supervisory experience in industrial cleaning within manufacturing, strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, PPE, and health and safety regulations. Shift work may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a supervisor in industrial cleaning within manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Thorough knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment.
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety legislation in industrial environments.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to plan and organize work effectively during production cycles.

Responsabilités

• Supervise daily cleaning operations within the industrial facility in Tembisa.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules tailored to industrial demands, including production downtime.
• Manage, train, and motivate a team of industrial cleaning staff.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety and environmental regulations, especially concerning hazardous materials and equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections of work areas to ensure quality and identify potential safety hazards.
• Maintain inventory of industrial cleaning chemicals, equipment, and PPE.
• Oversee the safe operation and maintenance of industrial cleaning machinery.
• Coordinate cleaning activities with production managers and safety officers.
• Implement best practices for hygiene and sanitation in a demanding industrial setting.
