Placements24 is seeking an experienced Industrial Cleaning Supervisor to lead cleaning operations in Durban. The role requires a proven background in industrial cleaning, safety protocols, and team management to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient environment in demanding settings.

You will oversee daily activities, develop schedules, train staff, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while maintaining records and fostering a strong safety culture.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years in industrial cleaning, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in manufacturing or similar industrial environments.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals used in large facilities.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety standards (COSHH/OSHA equivalents).

Responsabilidades

• Supervise daily activities of the industrial cleaning team.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules for manufacturing and warehouse areas in Durban.
• Ensure all cleaning activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Train staff on proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify cleaning needs or hazards.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment; ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of cleaning machinery and tools.
• Respond to urgent cleaning requirements and emergencies.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities, safety checks, and staff performance.
• Foster a strong safety culture across the facility.
