Job summary

DP World is seeking an experienced Import Freight Services professional to manage end-to-end shipments, from file opening to payment processing. The role emphasizes accuracy of documentation, coordination with clearing, and proactive client communication.

Proficiency in Cargowise and strong knowledge of Incoterms are essential. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in import freight services, Matric and relevant FIATA/NCFF qualifications are advantageous, with Logistics education preferred.

Qualifications

• Matric and FIATA/NCFF would be advantageous.
• Experience in import freight services and knowledge of forwarder/clearing processes.
• Proficient in Cargowise and Incoterms.

Responsibilities

• Open and manage shipment files, obtain landside/transport rates and verify line invoice rates.
• Ensure all shipment documentation is accurate and communicated to the clearing department and consignee.
• Track shipments end-to-end from indent to POD and invoice payment; maintain client updates.
