Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an energetic Fundraiser to join our client’s team in Paarl, combining in-person community engagement with remote planning and reporting. You will develop and execute strategies to raise funds for vital programs and build donor relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fundraising or sales, preferably within the non-profit sector.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and persuasive selling skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain donor relationships.
• Experience in event planning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement fundraising strategies for various community campaigns, both online and offline.
• Identify, cultivate, and solicit donations from individual, corporate, and foundation sources.
• Organize and manage fundraising events, including planning, logistics, and execution.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential donors, ensuring excellent stewardship.
• Create compelling fundraising materials, including proposals, appeals, and presentations.
• Track fundraising progress, analyze results, and provide regular reports to management.
• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote fundraising initiatives.
