Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level expertise in financial accounting and IFRS.
• CA(SA) designation strongly preferred.
• 3–5 years in a technical accounting role.
• Experience in a financial services environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Stay up to date with IFRS and regulatory changes.
• Provide technical accounting opinions for new products and transactions.
• Assess IFRS impacts for business units and assist with implementation.
• Communicate accounting treatments to Business Unit CFOs and GFR.
• Prepare notes disclosures and assist with annual financial statements.
• Liaise with SAICA, IASB, and regulatory bodies on accounting matters.
