Job summary

Communicate Finance is seeking an experienced accountant in South Africa to lead group reporting, consolidations, and IFRS-compliant financial statements. You will support month-end and year-end closes, provide senior-level financial analysis, and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audits.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of accounting experience, strong IFRS knowledge, and advanced Excel skills to ensure accuracy and efficiency in reporting across multiple entities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and annual group reporting packs.
• Perform group consolidations across multiple entities.
• Prepare and review financial statements.
• Ensure IFRS compliance and company policies.
• Assist with month-end and year-end reporting processes.
• Review income statements and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Support annual audits and statutory reporting requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements within the finance function.
