Job summary

Vista Group is seeking a Support Specialist in Cape Town to deliver second-line technical support and world-class customer service for cinema software solutions. You will troubleshoot issues, log bugs, and work with global teams to resolve complex problems.

The role is hybrid with a home/office split, requiring regular two-day-per-week attendance at the Cape Town office. Applicants must have the right to work in South Africa and be prepared to build strong client relationships while growing

Qualifications

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, .NET, cloud technologies, and networking.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, verbal and written communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to stay composed under pressure with independent discretion.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of investigating, tracking, finding solutions and resolving technical support issues, including logging bugs and testing solutions.
• Install and configure Vista Group software remotely and onsite for troubleshooting and onboarding.
• Collaborate across regions and departments on diverse tasks and initiatives.
• Become knowledgeable of Vista Group software and the cinema industry to serve clients effectively.
• Upskill and train clients and team members via documentation and training sessions.
• Build strong relationships with clients and team members.
• Be available for bi-monthly rotation for after-hours support.
