Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in structural design for buildings.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (SAP2000, ETABS, Prokon).
• Knowledge of South African building codes and construction practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for building projects utilizing concrete, steel, and masonry.
• Develop detailed structural drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Coordinate with architectural and MEP teams to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and quality assurance.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant South African National Standards (SANS) and building regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents and project proposals.
