You will develop diverse programs for various age groups, manage logistics and budgets, and lead part-time staff and volunteers while promoting community well-being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management, Sports Management, Leisure Studies, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in planning and coordinating recreational or community programs.
• Strong understanding of program development, marketing, and budget management.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a hybrid setting.
• Passion for community engagement and promoting health and wellness within Leisure & Sports.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and execute recreational programs and activities (sports leagues, fitness classes, community events).
• Coordinate program logistics (scheduling, facility bookings, resources).
• Market and promote programs via social media and local outreach.
• Manage program budgets, track expenses, ensure financial accountability.
• Recruit, train, and supervise part-time staff and volunteers.
• Assess program effectiveness and gather participant feedback for improvements.
