You will troubleshoot process upsets, analyze data, and collaborate with operations to improve yield and reliability in a hybrid on-site/remote role.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering with 4+ years’ experience, strong problem-solving, and knowledge of unit operations and process safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in chemical production or process engineering.
• Solid understanding of chemical unit operations and manufacturing processes.
• Experience troubleshooting production issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Familiarity with process safety principles and environmental regulations.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment balancing on-site and remote tasks.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting is beneficial.
• Adaptable and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to resolve process upsets and operational challenges.
• Monitor KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
• Assist in implementing process modifications and upgrades.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production deviations and recommend actions.
• Develop and update SOPs and operating guidelines.
• Support safety reviews and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Participate in process data analysis and reporting to track performance.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to ensure continuity.
• Assist in training operators on new procedures or changes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.
