Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Mechanical Quality Engineer to join our client in Mahikeng. You will define and implement quality standards, perform inspections, and analyze data to improve reliability across mechanical components and assemblies.

The role collaborates with design and manufacturing teams, ensures ISO 9001 compliance, and drives continuous improvement. A hybrid work model supports on-site and remote work, with growth through certifications and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Quality Management.
• Minimum of 4 years of mechanical quality assurance/quality control experience.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control plans for mechanical production processes.
• Conduct inspections and audits of mechanical parts and assemblies.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends and implement RCCA.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and certifications.
• Manage non-conformance reporting and corrective actions.
