Placements24 seeks a compassionate Learning Support Teacher to join our team in Mahikeng. You will develop and implement individualized learning strategies and IEPs to help students with learning challenges thrive.

You will collaborate with classroom teachers, parents and support staff, monitor progress, and provide targeted instruction in a flexible hybrid work model designed to support student success.

Qualifications

• A relevant teaching qualification and certification in Learning Support or Special Education.
• Proven ability to develop and implement IEPs.
• Strong understanding of learning disabilities and supportive methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Identify students' learning needs and develop IEPs or targeted support strategies.
• Provide one-on-one or small group instruction for students needing academic support.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate support into regular instruction.
• Monitor progress, document interventions and communicate outcomes to stakeholders.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment for diverse learners.
