Placements24 is seeking a Distance Learning Facilitator to support students in Soweto within a hybrid work model, combining remote assistance with on-site interactions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• 3+ years in student support, academic advising, or similar role, preferably in distance learning.
• Strong understanding of online learning environments and challenges.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and online tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic and technical support to distance learners.
• Guide students in navigating the LMS and online tools.
• Respond to inquiries via email, phone, or chat in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot common technical issues related to online learning.
• Monitor engagement and progress, identify students needing extra help.
