Qualifications

• Qualification in Special Needs Education or related field such as PGCE with Learning Support.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience providing learning support in a school setting.
• Strong understanding of learning barriers and IEP development.

Responsibilities

• Identify students needing learning support through assessments and referrals.
• Develop and implement IEPs and tailored strategies for literacy, numeracy and other subjects.
• Provide direct 1:1 or small group support addressing specific learning challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate support strategies in class.
• Communicate progress and plans with parents.
• Coordinate with external professionals when necessary.
• Monitor progress and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Contribute to developing resources and training for teachers on inclusive practices.
