Placements24 is seeking an innovative Learning and Development Specialist to design and implement training programs for their workforce in Queenstown. The role focuses on identifying training needs, creating engaging learning materials, and facilitating programs that build employee skills and career growth.

The ideal candidate has a passion for adult learning principles, with a proven ability to develop effective training solutions and work within a culture of continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Education, or related field.
• 3+ years in Learning & Development, instructional design or training.
• Proven ability to design and deliver adult learning programs.
• Experience with various e-learning platforms and training methodologies.
• Strong presentation, facilitation and communication skills.
• Excellent project management and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess training needs and identify skills gaps across departments.
• Design, develop and deliver training programs, workshops, and e-learning modules.
• Source and manage external training providers and resources as needed.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Support career development plans and succession initiatives.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in L&D.
