The ideal candidate has a Master’s in ECE or Educational Leadership with 8+ years’ progressive experience, including 4 years in management. Strong communication, budgeting, and community engagement are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a Master’s degree or equivalent in Early Childhood Education, Educational Leadership, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years in early childhood education with at least 4 years in management or directorship.
• Proven leadership in program development and operational management.
• Strong knowledge of ECD pedagogy, regulatory requirements, and curriculum design.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and management of the center, ensuring high standards of care and education.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for growth and improvement.
• Mentor and inspire educators and staff, promoting a collaborative culture.
• Oversee curriculum development and alignment with best practices and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with provincial and national childcare regulations and licensing standards.
• Manage the center’s budget, finances, and resources efficiently.
• Foster partnerships with parents, guardians, and the community.
• Lead marketing and enrollment initiatives to optimise occupancy.
• Handle staff scheduling, performance management, and remote administrative tasks.
