Placements24 seeks a dynamic Lead Online Educator in George to spearhead educational initiatives across our online programs. The role blends remote autonomy with in-person collaboration as you guide a team of educators and shape teaching methodologies.

You will drive curriculum enhancement, mentor staff, evaluate new educational technologies, and ensure high-quality online course delivery. The position rewards initiative, collaboration, and a commitment to academic excellence in the Western Cape.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education or related field.
• At least 6 years of teaching experience.
• Minimum 3 years in online or hybrid setting.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in education.
• Proficiency with LMS (Moodle/Blackboard/Canvas).
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Curriculum design and assessment expertise.
• Ability to motivate and develop a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of online educators.
• Oversee online course content and teaching strategies.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
• Design and deliver engaging online lectures and sessions.
• Develop and administer assessments of learning outcomes.
