Placements24 is seeking an experienced Project Manager for IT Infrastructure in Pretoria. You will lead critical tech projects, coordinating IT teams, vendors and stakeholders to deliver upgrades and new systems on time and within budget.

The role requires 5+ years in IT infrastructure project management, strong networking/server/cloud knowledge (AWS, Azure), and experience with Agile/Waterfall. A hybrid work model and opportunities for certifications are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project management with focus on IT infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of networking, servers, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and cybersecurity principles.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of IT infrastructure projects from initiation to closure.
• Define scope, objectives, timelines and resource needs with IT leadership.
• Oversee vendor and contractor selection and management.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and data privacy regulations.
• Monitor performance, identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Communicate status, issues and resolutions to stakeholders.
