Placements24 is seeking Graduate Network Engineers in Centurion, Gauteng. The role offers a hybrid work model, combining office collaboration with remote work, to design, implement and maintain secure networks for diverse clients.

You will learn network configuration, monitoring, and security best practices under experienced engineers and gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies. A strong foundation in networking is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/EE or related field
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS & DHCP and routing/switching
• Familiarity with network security principles and best practices
• Experience with Windows Server and Linux
• Willingness to learn and grow in cybersecurity

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, installation and configuration of network hardware and software
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
• Implement and maintain network security measures (firewalls, VPNs, IDS)
• Support administration of network devices and servers
• Develop network diagrams and documentation
