Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Financial Management, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a Hybrid setting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to learn and pursue professional accounting qualifications (SAIPA/SAICA).
• Familiarity with accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
• Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
• Assist with tax computations and submissions.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
• Participate in internal and external audits.
• Process invoices and manage accounts payable/receivable.
• Support the finance team with ad-hoc financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Learn and utilize accounting software and systems effectively.
