Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and IFRS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage or QuickBooks is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Based in or able to commute to Tembisa, Gauteng for hybrid work.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and variance analyses.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Participate in internal audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Process journal entries and manage financial data input.
• Collaborate with senior accountants and finance managers on projects.
• Utilize accounting software and systems for daily tasks.
• Contribute to process improvements within the finance department.
