Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive fundraising experience in the non-profit sector.
• Proven success in securing major gifts, sponsorships, and grants.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to cultivate diverse donor constituencies and manage multiple initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an annual fundraising plan with ambitious yet achievable targets.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with major donors, corporate partners, and foundations in Gauteng.
• Plan and execute fundraising events, campaigns and appeals to maximize revenue.
• Write compelling grant proposals and sponsorship requests.
• Steward donors with timely acknowledgments, reporting, and engagement opportunities.
• Collaborate with communications to create fundraising materials and messaging.
• Manage and maintain the donor database with accurate reporting.
• Analyze performance data to identify trends and opportunities.
