Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Fundraising Manager for a well-respected youth development charity in Stellenbosch. The role leads strategy, donor relations, grant writing, and events to secure diverse funding sources.

You will collaborate with the Board and staff to grow sustainable funding, engage major donors, foundations, and corporate partners, and expand programs that impact youth in the Western Cape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in non-profit fundraising.
• Proven track record in securing significant funding.
• Experience with multi-channel fundraising strategies.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic fundraising plan to meet goals in Stellenbosch.
• Cultivate and steward donor relationships across major gifts, foundations, and corporate partners.
• Oversee grant writing and submission processes.
• Plan and run fundraising events and campaigns to maximize revenue.
• Manage donor database and ensure accurate records and acknowledgments.
• Collaborate with Board and staff on fundraising activities.
• Identify new funding opportunities and trends.
• Prepare fundraising reports and financial projections for Board.
• Communicate the organizations impact and value proposition.
• Represent the organization at community events to build visibility.
