Placements24 is seeking a Junior Flight Operations Coordinator in East London, Eastern Cape. This entry-level role combines office collaboration with remote tasks to support daily flight operations, scheduling, and crew coordination.

You will work with senior staff to ensure flights run safely, efficiently, and punctually, while developing skills in aviation operations and process improvement.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in Aviation Management, Logistics, or related field.
• Strong admin and detail orientation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Willing to learn and adapt to new procedures.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience with flight scheduling software is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist in planning and scheduling daily flight operations.
• Monitor flight progress and communicate delays or disruptions.
• Coordinate flight crew assignments and duty times.
• Maintain flight logs and operational data.
• Liaise with ground handling, ATC, and other departments.
• Prepare flight documentation and ensure requirements are met.
• Assist in managing operational resources and equipment.
• Respond to inquiries and support flight crews and internal teams.
• Participate in development of operational procedures.
• Contribute to safety reporting and risk assessments.
