Job summary

Super Group International in Cape Town seeks a Financial Controller to lead accounting and reporting for multiple entities, ensuring timely month-end and year-end close, accurate reconciliations, and audit readiness.

You will partner with Treasury, Legal and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality financial information, manage intercompany activity, and drive process improvements in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• B.Com finance degree or equivalent.
• 2 to 3 years accounting experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and high quality outputs.
• Adaptability to changing priorities and environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reports.
• Assist in preparation of management accounts and posting invoices, accruals, and prepayments.
• Reconcile prepayments, accruals, FX, and review expense analyses.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset registers; ensure assets are depreciated per policy.
• Monitor reporting dimensions across brands, products and regions; intercompany processes and disclosures.
• Post ad hoc journals and support internal/external audits; assist with annual close and audit files.
