Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or in a similar event management role.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
• Proficiency in event planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, with flexibility for non-standard working hours.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual, and staffing.
• Develop event budgets and ensure all activities remain within financial constraints.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to secure services and negotiate contracts.
• Create detailed event timelines and manage them effectively to ensure on-time execution.
• Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide regular updates throughout the planning process.
• Oversee on-site event management, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any issues that arise.
