Placements24 is seeking an experienced Event Catering Manager to oversee catering operations for high-profile events in and around Sandton, Gauteng. The role combines remote administration with on-site event coordination to ensure seamless service and exceptional client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will lead menu planning, budget management, and team scheduling, working with venues, kitchen staff, and external vendors to deliver outstanding hospitality experiences.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years of experience in event management, catering management, or related hospitality role.
• Experience successfully managing and executing diverse catering events.
• Strong understanding of food preparation, service standards, and beverage management.

Aufgaben

• Manage all aspects of event catering, including client liaison, menu customization, budget management, and staff scheduling.
• Develop creative menus catering to diverse client needs and dietary preferences.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff, service teams, and external vendors for smooth execution.
