Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Endpoint Security Engineer for a prominent logistics client in Mahikeng, North West. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing protections for end-user devices against malware, unauthorized access, and other threats.

You will deploy and manage EDR and antivirus solutions, patch management, and DLP technologies, while shaping security policies and responding to incidents to safeguard the distributed workforce and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Cybersecurity or related field.
• 3–5 years of endpoint security management or cybersecurity operations.
• Hands-on experience with leading EDR solutions such as CrowdStrike, Defender for Endpoint, or SentinelOne.
• Strong OS knowledge (Windows/macOS/Linux) and patch management experience.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain endpoint security solutions (EDR, antivirus, DLP, host firewalls).
• Monitor alerts and investigate security incidents.
• Develop endpoint security policies and procedures.
• Manage patching and vulnerability remediation.
• Collaborate with IT to ensure secure endpoint configurations.
