Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced E-commerce Platform Manager to oversee and optimize our client’s online store operations in Richards Bay. You will manage day-to-day operations, implement new features, and drive strategies to improve conversion rates and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in e-commerce management, strong knowledge of Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce, and experience with CRO, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in e-commerce management or platform operations.
• Strong knowledge of Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce.
• Experience with CRO techniques and A/B testing.
• Excellent project management and cross-functional coordination.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce website, including product catalog management, pricing updates, and promotional activities.
• Oversee website performance, user experience, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement new features, integrations, and platform updates.
• Analyze sales data, website traffic, and customer behavior to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
• Develop and execute strategies to improve the customer journey, from site search and navigation to checkout and order fulfillment.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant e-commerce regulations and security standards.
