Placements24’s client in Queenstown, Eastern Cape, seeks an E-commerce SEO Specialist to drive organic growth and improve search rankings. You will conduct keyword research, on-page and off-page SEO, and collaborate with content and development teams in a hybrid office setup.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in e-commerce SEO, strong analytics, and proficiency with SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and Google tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven experience in e-commerce SEO.
• Proven ability to improve organic search rankings and traffic.
• Familiar with SEO tools and web analytics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth keyword research for organic growth.
• On-page optimization including meta tags, structure, and internal linking.
• Implement off-page SEO strategies and digital PR.
• Perform technical SEO audits and fix crawl/indexing issues.
• Monitor traffic, rankings, and SEO metrics with analytics tools.
• Develop strategies to boost product category rankings.
• Collaborate with content team to ensure SEO alignment.
• Stay updated with SEO trends and algorithm changes.
• Report insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with developers for technical SEO changes.
