Placements24 is seeking a Senior Catering Operations Supervisor for the Richards Bay region. The role blends hands-on on-site supervision with remote management of administration and planning to ensure seamless catering service from prep to delivery.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in catering operations, strong leadership, and a solid understanding of HACCP and food safety. You will coordinate staff, manage inventory, and maintain service excellence across events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in catering operations or similar role.
• Proven staff supervision and training experience.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends/holidays.
• Proficiency with basic computer apps (email, word processing).

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily catering operations ensuring timely prep and delivery.
