Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bookkeeping or accounting certificate is advantageous.
• 1–2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Pastel, SAP).
• Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
• Good organisational and time management abilities.
• May be required to work from Vereeniging office periodically and legally allowed to work in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Match invoices to PO and receiving documents.
• Prepare payment runs and ensure timely disbursement of funds.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain organised filing for accounts payable documents.
• Respond to vendor inquiries professionally and timely.
• Assist with month-end close related to accounts payable.
• Ensure compliance with company payment policies and procedures.
• Support audits as required.
• Update vendor master file information.
