Job summary

Alloy Enterprises is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist based in Johannesburg to support customers across Africa by identifying needs, preparing accurate solutions, and ensuring high retention. You will coordinate with Outside Sales, Field Operations, and technical teams to deliver proposals aligned with JCI standards.

The role requires 3+ years in HVAC or building technologies sales, strong CRM skills, and the ability to influence decision makers. A engineering degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in HVAC or Building Technologies sales/estimation.
• Proven track record of exceeding targets.
• Ability to influence key decision makers.
• High-volume phone communication experience.
• CRM proficiency and ability to learn Johnson Controls' product portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for customer inquiries and HVAC service requests.
• Build strong distributor relationships to ensure repeat business and account retention.
• Create and manage proposals in SFDC with pricing guidance and upsell opportunities.
• Oversee end-to-end cycle from lead to ERP booking.
• Conduct outbound follow-ups, track renewals, and communicate expiring proposals.
• Review terms, conditions, and payment terms according to JCI standards.
• Collaborate with regional teams for site details and asset counts.
• Analyze quotation performance and market trends, provide sales insights.
• Maintain technical knowledge through ongoing training.
