Job summary

Mc Technology Staffing is seeking an HR Officer in Cape Town to manage recruitment, industrial relations, and performance processes. You will partner with line managers to drive hiring, handle disciplinary matters, and support appraisals and coaching for underperformance, while ensuring policy guidance and timely HR administration.

The role emphasizes stakeholder collaboration, staff relations, and talent management to improve morale and retention within the unit.

Qualifications

• Matric and HR-related degree or diploma.
• Driver's license required.
• 3–5 years of experience as HR Officer.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate recruitment and selection within the unit with line managers.
• Support industrial relations, including disciplinary enquiries and grievances.
• Support performance management with probation, appraisals, and coaching for underperformance.
• Represent the company at the CCMA.
• Review HR metrics and provide metric analysis.
• Act as point of contact for employees and managers.
• Provide HR policy guidance and support.
• Work with managers to improve relationships, morale and productivity, and staff retention.
• Manage talent portfolio including succession and talent reviews for key roles.
• Facilitate people-related issues with management stakeholders.
• Generate all required HR administration within deadlines.

Duties

• Facilitate the recruitment and selection process within the unit in conjunction with the relevant line managers
• Support and facilitation of all facets of industrial relations, inclusive of scheduling disciplinary enquiries, and grievances
• Support and facilitation of the performance management process within the unit, inclusive of probation, performance appraisals and poor work performance counselling
• Represent the company at the CCMA
• Review HR Metrics and information and metric analysis
• Act as point of contact for employees and managers
• Provide HR Policy guidance and support.
• Work closely with department managers and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity as well as staff retention
• Manage Talent portfolio in terms of succession, talent review and talent management for key job positions
• Facilitate people related issues with the relevant management stakeholders for solutioning
• Generate all required HR administration within deadlines
