Job summary

Glencore Copper in Johannesburg seeks a skilled HSEC & HR Performance Reporting Analyst to manage, analyze, and report environmental and social data. You will ensure data integrity, integrate GIS with BI, and deliver dashboards and reports to inform decision-making and compliance.

The role collaborates with HSEC, HR, IT, GIS, Assurance, Risk & Compliance, and requires a strong background in SQL, GIS tools, and data governance. Travel occasionally to sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, GIS, Data Science, or related field.
• 5+ years in data management, analytics, reporting, and GIS.
• Experience with SQL and data warehousing.
• Hands-on GIS tools like ArcGIS and QGIS.
• Experience with reporting and data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of reporting frameworks (GRI, ICMM).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual HSEC & HR reporting processes.
• Manage and maintain corporate databases, including indicator updates and data reviews.
• Perform advanced analytics, including spatial and geospatial analysis.
• Develop and produce standardized reports, dashboards, and geospatial outputs.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance across reporting systems.
• Integrate GIS capabilities with business intelligence and reporting platforms.
• Support regulatory, environmental, and social reporting requirements.
• Provide actionable insights to senior stakeholders to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across HSEC, HR, IT, GIS, Assurance, Risk & Compliance.
