Placements24 is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to oversee Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance for its Richards Bay operations. You will lead a team, implement policies, conduct audits, and drive a strong safety culture while ensuring regulatory compliance and environmental stewardship.

The role requires a deep understanding of South African HSE legislation, 8+ years of progressive experience, and the ability to develop effective policies and programs across site activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in HSE management, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
• In-depth knowledge of South African HSE legislation and international standards (e.g., OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
• Proven experience in developing and implementing effective HSE policies and procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Certification from a recognized professional HSE body is highly desirable.
