Job summary

Baker Hughes seeks an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist to lead HSE compliance and drive governance for fixed facilities. You will mentor teams, monitor KPI performance, and coordinate audits and customer visits to ensure regulatory and contractual alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Health, Safety and Environment, preferably in Oil & Gas field operations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities with the ability to influence others and lead teams.
• Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously with analytical and organizational capability.
• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide the structure for compliance in HSE, audits, and customer visits.
• Ensure compliance of the HSE fundamentals.
• Governance and monitoring of the HSE KPI and all HSE performance indicators.
• Ensure regulatory and contract HSE compliance.
• Communicate high-level concepts to senior leadership; coach and develop subordinates.
• Deliver specialized professional work by single- or multi-layered teams.
• Handle complex professional work; develop new approaches and manage knowledge.
