Placements24 seeks an experienced Senior HSE Engineer to oversee health, safety, and environmental performance for operations in Nelspruit. You will develop and monitor HSE management systems, identify risks, and promote a zero-harm safety culture across Oil & Gas activities.

The role requires 7+ years in HSE, strong leadership and regulatory knowledge, and professional certifications such as NEBOSH or CSP are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in Oil & Gas.
• In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Certifications such as NEBOSH or CSP are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, recommending corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver HSE training to employees and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permits.
• Promote a positive and proactive safety culture throughout the organization.
