Job summary

TotalEnergies Renewables Southern Africa is seeking a qualified HSE professional to support day-to-day implementation of Health, Safety, Environmental and Sustainability requirements across SPV assets and act as the on-site focal point for stakeholders. The role ensures plans comply with Company Rules and local regulations while promoting safe operations.

The candidate will lead training, audits, reporting, and incident investigations, maintain HSES records, and travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

National Diploma in Safety Management or equivalent; SACPCMP would be advantageous.
4+ years of HSE experience, preferably in renewables or industrial operations HSE Management Systems.
Working knowledge of relevant regulations and standards for HSE in renewable energy projects and sites.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day implementation of HSE and Environmental & Sustainability requirements across SPV operational assets.
Act as the HSE site focal point with stakeholders (internal, contractor).
Review, draft, and ensure implementation of Contractors and Project Company HSE plans per Company Rules and local legislation.
