Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive HSE Advisor to support operations in Mahikeng. The role ensures compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across oil and gas activities, developing and monitoring HSE policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Bachelor's in OHS, with at least 5 years in an HSE role, strong knowledge of SA HSE legislation, and excellent communication and risk assessment skills. Hybrid work model offered to balance office and site work.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an HSE Advisor, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
• In-depth knowledge of South African HSE legislation and international best practices.
• Experience in conducting risk assessments and developing safety procedures.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, balancing office-based duties with site visits.
