Job summary

South32 Group Operations Pty. Ltd. in Hotazel, Northern Cape, seeks an experienced Manager Human Resources to lead the HR strategy for the Hotazel Manganese Mines. You will coach senior leaders and oversee workforce planning, remuneration, performance and development across the operation.

Reporting to the VP Operations MnSA, you will build a diverse, high-performing team, manage industrial relations and ensure compliant, fit-for-purpose HR services across the full employment lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of HR experience (essential).
• Proven leadership with teams of similar size.
• Experience in employee/industrial relations and ER theory within heavy industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR strategy and agenda for Hotazel Manganese Mines (HMM).
• Provide high-quality HR coaching and support across the employment lifecycle.
• Manage litigation matters and align with global HR model.
• Drive culture, diversity and high performance at operations.
• Partner with Operational Leadership on workforce planning and remuneration.
