Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, Psychology, Labour Relations or related field.
• NQF Level 6
• Minimum 5 years HR experience in a manufacturing environment
• Sound knowledge and practical experience in labour legislation
• Practical experience with ISO 14001 and SHEQ systems
• Experience in disciplinary hearings, recruitment, payroll support and training

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, selection, interviews and onboarding
• Prepare employment contracts, job descriptions and HR documentation
• Manage employee relations, disciplinary processes and grievances
• Provide guidance on South African labour legislation
• Liaise with unions and employee representatives
• Coordinate training and development activities
• Maintain the Skills Matrix, Training Matrix and training records and competency evaluations
• Support performance management and employee development
• Maintain accurate employee files, leave and attendance records on Uniclox clock system
• Provide payroll information and HR administration support
• Do Payroll weekly for wage employees on Pastel Payroll
• Coordinate Employment Equity activities and Skills Development requirements
• Support WSP and ATR submissions
• Maintain HR legal and statutory registers
• Support Occupational Health & Safety initiatives
• Prepare monthly HR reports and monitor absenteeism and labour turnover
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 / IATF 16949 requirements
• Implement, maintain and continuously improve ISO 1400 and SHEQ systems
• Maintain HR-related requirements for ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949 compliance
