Komatsu Mining Corp. is seeking an HR Officer for a five-month fixed-term contract. The role is onsite in Wadeville, Germiston, Gauteng, reporting to HR leadership.

You will coordinate recruitment activities, provide payroll input, and ensure compliance with South African labour legislation. The ideal candidate has a relevant HR degree, at least three years of HR experience in heavy engineering, and solid MS Office skills.

Qualificações

• Grade 12.
• A tertiary qualification (National Diploma or Bachelor's Degree) in Human Resources Management or related field.
• Must have at least three years Human Resources experience; in a heavy Engineering environment.
• Previous site-based HR experience will be highly advantageous.
• Sound knowledge and practical understanding of South African labour legislation and HR practices.
• Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint; and
• Valid driver's license and own reliable transport.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment ,including job postings, sourcing, screening, shortlisting, interviews, reference checks and pre-employment requirements;
• Provide hands-on HR and administrative support to employees, supervisors and management;
• Ensure compliance with South African labour legislation, including the BCEA, LRA and POPIA;
• Coordinate employee onboarding and HR induction, ensuring new employees are correctly captured on the system and all required documents are submitted on time;
• Prepare offer letters, fixed-term employment contracts and supporting employment documentation;
• Complete documents related to employee movements, internal transfers, promotions and other changes to conditions of employment;
• Ensure HR documentation is properly filed, audit-ready and managed confidentially;
• Compile and maintain accurate HR reports, metrics for management decision-making; and
• Prepare and submit accurate payroll input within prescribed deadlines, and resolve related queries or discrepancies with employees, supervisors and payroll.
