About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled HR Manager with a specialization in compliance and policy development to lead their team in Sandton . This pivotal role involves ensuring that all HR practices adhere to the latest South African labor laws and regulations, as well as developing and implementing effective HR policies. You will be responsible for risk mitigation, compliance audits, and providing strategic guidance on legal and ethical HR matters. This on-site position is critical for maintaining the integrity and operational excellence of the HR function within a leading organization in Gauteng.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with South African labor law .
• Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments of HR practices.
• Manage employee relations and ensure fair and consistent application of disciplinary procedures.
• Oversee the investigation of grievances and misconduct, providing recommendations for resolution.
• Stay abreast of legislative changes and advise management on their impact.
• Lead HR initiatives focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Law, Human Resources, or a related field.
