About the Role

Our client, a leading multinational corporation with a significant operational hub in Sandton, Gauteng , is seeking an experienced HR Manager specializing in Compensation and Benefits. This critical role will oversee the design, implementation, and administration of competitive and equitable compensation and benefits programs to attract, retain, and motivate top talent. The HR Manager will work closely with senior leadership to ensure programs align with market trends, organizational strategy, and legal requirements. This position offers a Hybrid work arrangement, blending essential collaboration at the Sandton office with the flexibility of remote work. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of C&B principles, and proven experience in managing complex reward strategies. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of compensation and benefits programs.
• Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitive remuneration packages.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other statutory benefits.
• Develop and manage job grading structures and salary bands.
• Oversee annual salary review processes and bonus program administration.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation related to compensation and benefits.
• Advise leadership and HRBPs on compensation and benefits-related matters.
• Manage vendor relationships with benefits providers and consultants.
• Develop communication strategies to effectively explain C&B programs to employees.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A Master's degree is advantageous.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Compensation and Benefits, with at least 3 years in a management or senior specialist role.
• Deep understanding of C&B principles, market data analysis, and HRIS relevant to C&B.
• Proven experience in designing and managing executive compensation programs.
• Strong knowledge of South African labor laws and tax implications related to compensation.
• Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a Hybrid work environment.
• Experience within the professional services or corporate sector is preferred.
