Job summary

HC Recruit is seeking a Human Resources Generalist in Durban Prospecton to establish and refine HR protocols, policies, and initiatives that support operational management goals and drive business value. The role encompasses full-cycle recruitment, remuneration administration, EE compliance, HR analytics, and performance management, with a strong focus on data integrity and timely statutory submissions.

You will collaborate across departments to foster a people-centric culture and ensure policy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field
• 5–7 years HR Generalist/Officer experience
• Knowledge of SA labour legislation (BCEA, LRA, EEA, SDA)
• Hands-on with VIP Payroll and HRIS
• Results-driven, people-centric culture

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle recruitment and onboarding
• Manage remuneration, benefits administration
• Coordinate Employment Equity (EE) meetings and reporting
• Prepare data-driven HR reports and board packs
• Ensure data integrity and statutory submissions
• Coordinate learnership frameworks and training initiatives
• Drive performance management and annual reviews
• Coordinate HR projects and operational directives
• Maintain professional internal communications
• Ensure policies align with current labour law
